Final days

South Crofty is the final bastion of the Camborne mining landscape that is slowly vanishing into the historic Cornish vaults. All that will remain is the metal tower with winding gear, sitting and gazing over what was life for many locals, some knew no other life than down a deep dark hole. It is said Cornish miners are the best in the world, and no matter where you travel on this globe.....At the bottom of every mine 'ye shall find a Cornishman'.
